Plans for the weekend/start of the holidays are evolving as school gradually comes to a close. i am particularly excited about this coming Saturday. New Moon in the city with a bunch of completely awesome friends. hopefully everyone mentioned will be able to come. lachlan's absence will not be appreciated.
i am quite sad about a friend i thought i was getting along with, who either doesn't seem to realise i'm alive, or thinks i'm a traitor for 'leaving' the group. i never went anywhere, because i have no-where else to go to. lonely, lonely me at my awful, awful school.
It seems that this is the time of year for appointments. today, i went to the dentist, and he told me the most fantastic news. Because of the way my teeth are shaped (genetics, joy) i am prone to holes. terrific. i dont think you realise just how much i dislike having rubbery fingers and cold metal whiny implements prodding and fiddling around the inside of my mouth, allowing me to re-discover gaps that are, apparently, supposed to be there.
Thursday means an eye appointment. hopefully i'll be getting new glasses soon afterwards. i'm looking forward to getting my sight back. spec-savers say they'll give me two pairs for the price of one, which is awesome because it means i don't have to narrow my choices down and end up with one wishing i could have another pair as well.
Sometime before January i'll also have to book another appointment to get shots which will allow me to go to either Cambodia or Vanuatu with YWAM. at the moment, my thoughts are in favour of Vanuatu, so we'll see how that goes.
green day in 10 days! its very true that the Xmas holidays bring good news of all sorts.
i must go and at least try to study for a maths test tomorrow. it doesn't even count towards grades for either this year or next year, which gives me more reason to procrastinate. its only reason for existence is so that we learn the stuff.
Over and out.
